Local Products at Finlay’s Place We pride ourselves in providing support to Local Suppliers and Producers. Our shelves are lined with many, different jams, chutneys, preserves and fresh free range eggs. Try our own delicious range of homemade jams and preserves. We stock local honey from local Killinchy beekeeper Mervyn Warrington. When a person eats local honey, they are thought to be ingesting local pollens. Over time, a person may become less sensitive to this pollen. As a result, they may experience fewer seasonal allergy symptoms (eg Hayfever). Honey also has anti-inflammatory properties and may decrease the swelling of the airways that accompanies asthma.

Fresh Vegetables A good range of seasonal fresh, quality, homegrown and local vegetables and potatoes is always on offer at our farmshop. All of superb quality! We source our brassica, carrots, potatoes, and parsnips from local farmer Paul Kirk.

Homegrown Fruit We offer homegrown strawberries ( Elsanta variety produces bright red, large glossy strawberries that are very tasty and nicely aromatic), raspberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants and gooseberries. Strawberries available for ‘Pick Your Own’ from June 2025 .
